Braye park has panoramic views over the city to the ocean with a large turning bay if you are towing or in a motorhome with room to pull up to take in the view. Also a good place to wait if you are dropping someone to the mater hospital for treatment and have to hang around for pickup.

Best lookout in Newcastle with beautiful 360 degree views. You can see along Stockton Beach all the way to Port Stephens.

The views are amazing, some of the best in Newcastle but it is known as a place for random sexual encounters - at least at night. The kids playground is thankfully separate from the area where this occurs but you will find rubbish including used condoms up top where the views are. It's not a major issue during the day though and well worth a visit for the views. Can be quite busy.

One of the best places to watch the sun goes down in Newcastle
